healthy lifestyle


Use my I touch to motivate me while working out

Still playing lacorsse in somewhat of a competitive fashion
wearing proper gym attire to work out

try to get in workouts at home when I don't have time for the gym

trying new ways to work out besides the gym
 In today's society I feel as if there are so many different ways to be healthy in the modern era. I feel as if that you have to be on one of the million diets that are out there in order to be considered healthy. My view point has and really always will be, that for the most part you can somewhat eat what want as long as you work out hard in the gym to work off the calories. I will say though that to more I have progressed in this opinion that there are a lot of the same kinds of foods that are healthier than the others. Especially when it comes to a lot of the meats I consume.  I would have to say that  this is really one of the only things I have changed. I try to buy organic free range meats, chicken, and fish but, a lot of the times it is very expensive to be able to buy organic all the time. One of the things that I have definitely stopped buying are chips. the only things i will buy that are close to chips are organic tostados'. Also I would have to say that I cut down on a lot of sweets which is kind of hard considering my son is very young.
                The only things I would say that is different is that the fact I am not playing the sports as much as I did in high school, and in college. Since I am coaching though It helps. I still play but,  I guess just not as competitive as it once was.  Honestly, the changes I have made does affect me and my family  because, it still keeps me active even though I have a family and it also allows me to teach my son what I have learned and how to develop these changes into a healthy lifestyle for his future.
